With distinction in her BArch degree at CEPT University Ahmedabad in 2006; Bhairavi is a strong believer in design discipline through spatial and material language. Her early professional experience at DP Architects Pvt Ltd, Mumbai and C168 Architects, Singapore has seen opportunities with a number of projects, most of which dealt with high end lifestyle, sophisticated real estate, hospitality and commercial design sector in India and Singapore.


After MSc in Advanced Sustainable Design (Edinburgh, UK) in 2011, Bhairavi is highly inclined towards sustainable design as her prime design intention. Her pursuit towards sustainable design has now taken shape irrespective of scale, function and medium of execution but more on the fundamental meaning of existence of any built environment.


Besides her practice, she has an ardent interest in developing designs for thermal screens in façade and has been adjunct to Industhan - an innovative and creative solution builder for thermal screen facades, specializing in ceramics thermal skins.


She is also a Committee Member in Doshi We Know Trust which provides annual fellowships to young thinkers and professionals who wish to address any contemporary situation related to the built environment or community at large. Home | DoshiWe Know

A leader by nature, Ujjaval has evolved to be an academic-practitioner. As a graduate of CEPT University Ahmedabad in 2006, he strongly believes in research before proposition and more research before execution. As a Design Executive at HB Design Pte Ltd, led by Hans Brower, Singapore he has worked on various high-rise residential designs, workspace designs and urban design. In his early professional career, he gained experience with projects in India, Thailand, and Singapore.

 

His love for understanding cities, their essence, and complexities have motivated him to bag distinction in MA in Urban Design at the National University of Singapore in 2010. He has also thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being a full-time lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic from 2011 - 2014. Ujjaval has also been a visiting faculty at CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and has undertaken a few design studios.

 

He brings to his design a great maturity by remaining thorough with the design process involved behind it at every stage of the project.


Ujjaval believes in noble ethical practices with high regard for gender equality. He has become a patron at Feminist Collaborative in Architecture – a group that believes to strengthen the professional fraternity with equal rights to ease of practice. Home | FCA (fca-india.org)
