house between trees
A house that engages with nature and uses existing neem trees as an interactive part of its living spaces rather than just an object to look at. The entrance of the house is celebrated by ambulating around the tree through a staircase that brings one to the first-floor entrance door. This experiential journey dictates the overall form which is further complimented by a balanced assembly of curved screens and the robust presence of modernist rectangular built masses. The primary spaces of the house are located on the first and second floors leaving the ground floor more open for leisure and recreational spaces.
